Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to teach and inspire students at the secondary and higher secondary level. The ideal candidate should combine strong subject knowledge with effective teaching strategies and a student-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach Geography to middle and secondary school students.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and interactive activities.
• Assess and evaluate students’ performance through tests, assignments, and projects.
• Encourage critical thinking, map-reading skills, and practical understanding of the subject.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and discipline.
• Incorporate digital tools and modern teaching aids in lessons.
• Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development programs.

Requirements

• B.A. or B.Com with B.Ed (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of teaching experience in Geography or Social Sciences.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/State syllabus is an advantage.
