The Theatre/Drama Teacher is primarily responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive curriculum in Theatre Arts, covering fundamental skills like acting techniques, improvisation, voice, movement, theatre history, and script analysis, all while fostering a safe, collaborative, and risk-taking classroom environment. Beyond instruction, a key responsibility is managing and directing theatrical productions, which includes holding auditions, casting, developing detailed rehearsal schedules, and overseeing all critical technical elements such as set construction, lighting design, sound operation, and costuming, often through the supervision and training of student stage crews. This role requires exceptional organizational skills to manage production budgets and timelines, strong communication to engage students, parents, and the wider school community about program activities, and a dedicated commitment to mentoring students, ultimately serving as the main architect of the school's performing arts experience and developing students' creativity, discipline, and critical thinking skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
