Job Overview

We are looking for a Thermal Design Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in the heat exchanger industry to join our Engineering & R&D team. The role involves performing thermal design, simulation, and validation of heat exchangers, supporting R&D initiatives, and providing technical expertise to cross-functional teams and customers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with thermal design software, CFD simulations, and a strong understanding of heat transfer and fluid mechanics.

Key Responsibilities

Thermal Design & Analysis

• Perform detailed thermal rating and design of heat exchangers (Shell & Tube, Air-Cooled, and custom units) using design software (HTRI, Aspen, etc.).
• Validate designs with manual calculations and ensure compliance with project specifications and codes.

Simulation & Validation

• Conduct CFD simulations to analyze flow distribution, heat transfer, and pressure drops.
• Coordinate with third-party consultants for advanced simulation studies.

Product Development & R&D

• Support the development of new heat exchanger patterns and contribute to product optimization.
• Participate in R&D projects focused on heat transfer and fluid flow improvements.

Automation & Tool Development

• Assist in creating tools (Excel, Python, or Visual Basic) for quick validation and process automation.
• Support automation of deliverables such as BOMs, Data Sheets, and Technical Specifications.

Technical Support & Documentation

• Provide expert support to design, proposal, and sales teams for technical queries.
• Prepare technical documentation, calculation notes, and customer presentations.

Collaboration & Training

• Work closely with Sales, Mechanical Design, and Management teams to deliver integrated solutions.
