We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to manage the sales, technical support, and execution of crane ancillary products such as hoists, winches, load monitoring systems, crane busbars, festoon systems, cable reels, radio remote controls, and other crane accessories. This role combines technical engineering expertise with project execution and customer interaction, ensuring the successful delivery of ancillary product solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Project Engineering & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute ancillary product projects from project handover to delivery and commissioning.
- Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments for procurement and timely delivery.
- Prepare engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and documentation for installations (where applicable).
- Supervise installation, integration, and commissioning of ancillary products on cranes and lifting equipment.
- Coordinate with the internal team & arrange site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting as needed.
Project Management
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress and report to management and clients.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company quality management systems.
Customer Service & After-Sales
- Provide training and technical guidance to customers on ancillary product use and maintenance.
- Support warranty claims, troubleshooting, and after-sales service.
- Maintain strong client relationships for repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering (or related field).
- 2–5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in cranes, lifting equipment, or industrial machinery.
- Strong knowledge of crane ancillary products (hoists, festoon systems, remote controls, load monitoring, etc.).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel for site work, client meetings, and commissioning.
Preferred Competencies
- Experience in crane or material handling equipment industry.
- Exposure to both sales and engineering functions.
- Vendor and supplier management experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
