Cultural Voyagers Travel Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ticketing & GDS Manager to lead our ticketing operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, and Web-based airline portals, and capable of handling full-cycle ticketing including fare construction, direct airline fares, advance bookings, refunds, exchanges, schedules, and group travel management.

The role requires strong analytical ability, excellent customer handling skills, and the capability to manage a team while coordinating with international airlines and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Ticketing & Reservation Management

  • Handle complete reservation and ticketing operations using Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, & Web-based airline systems.
  • Issue, reissue, void, refund, and exchange tickets across all major airlines.
  • Manage direct airline fares, promotional fares, corporate fares, and special contracted fares.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of airline policies, fare rules, penalties, taxes, and booking classes.
  • Process advance bookings, schedule changes, involuntary changes, and revalidations.
  • Ensure error-free fare calculations, reissuance, and ticketing following IATA standards.

Airline Coordination

  • Liaise with airline sales teams, GDS support, BSP/ARC teams, and consolidators.
  • Maintain strong relationships with airlines for fare filings, group quotations, waivers, and approvals.
  • Resolve ADM/ACM issues with airlines.

Group Travel Management

  • Manage group bookings from inquiry to issuance, including fare negotiation, deposits, and final ticketing.
  • Coordinate itineraries, seat allocations, and service requests for group travel.

Sales Support & Client Handling

  • Provide sales team support with fare comparisons, routing options, and best-price solutions.
  • Assist clients with travel requirements, itinerary planning, and after-sales service including refunds and amendments.
  • Handle corporate and VIP clients with premium service.

System & Reporting

  • Maintain PNR accuracy, queue management, and automation tools.
  • Prepare daily/weekly ticketing reports, sales summaries, refunds, and voids.
  • Ensure compliance with airline audit requirements.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the ticketing team, ensuring high accuracy and productivity.
  • Conduct GDS training and refreshers for new and existing staff.
  • Improve SOPs to enhance performance and minimize errors.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Expert knowledge of GDS: Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo (mandatory).
  • Experience using Web-based airline portals (FlyDubai, AirBlue, PIA, AirSial, AirArabia, Saudia, Emirates, Qatar Airways, International airlines etc.).
  • Strong command of fare construction, ticketing rules, and IATA standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of refunds, reissues, EMD issuance, SSR handling, and special service requests.
  • Good understanding of BSP/ARC processes.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure, deadlines, and large volume booking environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (reports, pivot tables, tracking).
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and professional ethics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Tourism, Aviation, Travel Management, or a related field).
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ticketing with a reputable travel agency or airline.
  • GDS certification (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
