Location: Tollesbury, Essex (workshop based + site work across London & the UK)
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm | 1 hour lunch break
Overtime available

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our team at a family-run bespoke catering kitchen fabrication company based in the lovely rural village of Tollesbury, Essex.

We design and build high-quality stainless steel catering kitchens and equipment, working on projects for restaurants, hospitality venues, and commercial kitchens.

Most work is workshop-based, but the role will also include on-site work across London and occasionally other parts of the UK, so flexibility to travel is important.

What You’ll Be Doing

• TIG welding stainless steel and sheet metal for bespoke catering kitchen equipment
• Fabricating and assembling components from engineering drawings
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ensuring all welds meet high-quality finish standards
• Keeping your workspace clean, organised, and safe
• Assisting with installation and site work when required

What We’re Looking For

✔ Proven TIG welding experience
✔ Experience working with stainless steel and sheet metal preferred
✔ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
✔ Good mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
✔ Confident using fabrication tools and workshop equipment
✔ Willingness to travel for occasional site work across London and the UK
✔ Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a team
