TIG Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding and fabrication tasks to create high-quality metal components and structures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with various welding techniques, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Your expertise will help ensure that projects meet safety standards, specifications, and deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. General

· Fabricate a wide variety of metal and non-metal parts from verbal directions, sketches, and drawings to specified tolerances

· Design and implementation of equipment and production parts that will improve the efficiency, functionality, or safety of machinery

· Make repairs to equipment and support equipment

2. Welding

· TIG, mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum

3. Machining

· Set-up and operate all of the following machines: horizontal band saw, vertical band saw, drill press, manual mill, manual lathe, CNC vertical machining center, CNC combination lathe, CNC water jet, automatic surface grinder, hydraulic press, arbor press

4. Fabricating

· Setup and operate all of the following machines: shear, hydraulic press brake, slip or plate roller, specialty hand tools

General hours of work:

• Monday-Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm

Skills required:

· Hands-on experience either in a production or job shop environment

· Exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes

· Self-motivated

· Excellent communication and follow-up

Pay: $19.53 - $22.00 per hour
