Tile mason

Summary:
Experienced and skilled Tile Mason with a minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in installing ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other types of tiles in residential, commercial, and maintenance projects. Capable of reading drawings, preparing surfaces, and ensuring accurate alignment and high-quality finishes in all tiling works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and mark surfaces to plan tile layouts according to drawings and specifications.
• Cut, shape, and smooth tiles using hand tools and machines for proper fitting.
• Prepare and level surfaces by removing old tiles, cleaning, and applying adhesive or mortar.
• Lay tiles on floors, walls, and ceilings ensuring straight lines, spacing, and alignment.
• Apply grout, sealants, and finishing materials to ensure durability and neat appearance.
• Repair and replace broken or damaged tiles as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow site safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to complete work efficiently.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficient in cutting and installing all types of tiles (ceramic, marble, granite, porcelain, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout plans.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and mixing adhesives.
• Attention to detail and precision in finishing work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:
Minimum 2 Years of UAE Experience in tiling and finishing works across residential, commercial, and maintenance projects.
