Key responsibilities

• Client consultation and quoting: Meet with clients or contractors to discuss needs, take measurements, and provide detailed cost estimates and quotes for the job.
• Surface preparation: Clean, remove old tile or grout, and level or repair surfaces to ensure they are smooth and ready for tile installation. This may include applying self-leveling compounds or waterproofing.
• Tile installation: Select the right adhesives, cut tiles to size and shape, and lay them according to the design plan, ensuring they are straight, level, and evenly spaced.
• Finishing: Apply grout to the gaps between tiles, clean off excess grout, and perform other finishing work to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
• Material and tool management: Order and transport necessary materials, such as tiles, adhesives, and grout. Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools for cutting and installation.
• Safety compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations on the construction site.

• Physical fitness: The job requires good physical stamina for tasks like kneeling, standing for long periods, and lifting heavy materials.
