Tiles Mason

We are seeking a skilled Tiles Mason to install, repair, and finish floor and wall tiles for construction and landscape projects. The candidate must have experience with various tile types, adhesives, and finishing methods, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and level surfaces for tiling on various substrates, including concrete, stone, and waterproofed surfaces.
• Install a variety of tiles — ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, marble, and natural stone — in swimming pools, pool decks, patios, and landscaped areas.
• Execute precise tile layout and alignment following architectural or landscape drawings.
• Cut and shape tiles to fit around curves, fixtures, and pool features (e.g., drains, steps, and skimmers).
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants suitable for wet and outdoor environments.
• Fill joints and smooth grout lines for a uniform, waterproof finish.
• Conduct maintenance or retiling of damaged or worn pool tiles and outdoor surfaces.
• Diagnose and repair water leakage or tile adhesion issues in swimming pools or landscaped areas.
• Follow technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, waterproofing specialists, and landscape designers.
• Maintain tools, materials, and workspaces in good order.
• Comply with environmental and safety standards specific to pool and landscape construction.
• Ensure correct slope and drainage setup, particularly for swimming pools, decks, and outdoor areas.
• Apply waterproofing membranes and bonding agents where required.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a Tiles Mason, preferably in landscaping, construction, or civil works.
• Proven experience with waterproofing systems and outdoor-grade adhesives and materials.
• Strong knowledge of tiling techniques for curved and submerged surfaces.
• Familiarity with different tile types suitable for pools and exterior applications.
• Ability to interpret drawings and layouts with precision.
• Knowledge of drainage slopes, expansion joints, and water-resistant materials.
• Good teamwork and communication skills for site coordination.
• Understanding of occupational health and safety procedures.
• Ability to manage time effectively and deliver projects to specification and schedule.
