Job Summary

The Time-Lapse Specialist is responsible for planning, installing, managing, and maintaining time-lapse camera systems to document project progress. The role ensures high-quality visual documentation for construction monitoring, stakeholder reporting, marketing, claims support, and performance analysis. The specialist will oversee camera setup, data management, image processing, and production of professional time-lapse videos aligned with project milestones.

Key Responsibility

Camera Setup & Technical Management

• Install and configure time-lapse camera systems on project sites.
• Identify optimal camera positions to capture full project scope.
• Ensure secure mounting, power supply (solar/battery), and network connectivity.
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Monitoring & Data Management

• Manage automated image capture schedules.
• Monitor camera performance and storage systems.
• Maintain organized archives of images and video footage.
• Ensure data backup and security compliance.

Video Production & Reporting

• Edit and produce high-quality time-lapse videos for:
• Monthly progress reporting
• Client presentations
• Marketing & corporate communication
• Project closeout documentation
• Add graphics, annotations, branding, and milestone markers.
• Coordinate with planning and project control teams to align visuals with schedule milestones.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, high-rise building construction is a must.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Photography, Film, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in time-lapse photography or construction documentation (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of DSLR / industrial time-lapse cameras and mounting systems
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
• Basic understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle (advantage).
• Ability to work at heights and in active construction environments.
