Timekeeper

Job Summary:

The Site Timekeeper is responsible for accurately tracking and recording the attendance, work hours, and overtime of all workers and staff on the construction or project site. The role ensures timely and accurate submission of time-related data for payroll processing and supports the administrative functions related to labor management on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily attendance records of all site workers, staff, and subcontractors.
• Track in/out times, breaks, overtime hours, and absences.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly manpower reports.
• Verify time sheets, job cards, and labor deployment records.
• Coordinate with HR and payroll teams for accurate salary processing.
• Monitor and update leave balances and permissions.
• Issue and manage timecards or biometric access (if applicable).
• Reconcile discrepancies in timekeeping records and resolve issues with supervisors.
• Support site administration in maintaining labor-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies related to working hours and overtime.
• Assist in mobilization/demobilization tracking of site personnel.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Business Administration or related field is an advantage.
• 2–4 years of experience in timekeeping, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with timekeeping systems (manual or digital) and attendance tracking software.
• Understanding of labor regulations and payroll practices.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to outdoor conditions and site environments.
