Job Purpose:
To manage, monitor, and control manpower attendance across multiple construction sites by coordinating with site-based assistant timekeepers, ensuring accuracy in daily attendance, overtime records, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attendance Management:
- Supervise and coordinate attendance tracking across 3 to 4 construction sites.
- Review, verify, and consolidate daily attendance reports submitted by assistant timekeepers at each site.
- Ensure timely and accurate input of attendance, leave, and overtime data into the company’s system.
- Maintain up-to-date attendance records for all site personnel including direct and subcontracted manpower.
2. Coordination & Supervision:
- Guide and support assistant timekeepers to maintain standardized recording procedures across all sites.
- Conduct regular site visits to cross-check attendance records and verify manpower deployment.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Admins, and HR Department to resolve discrepancies in manpower reports.
3. Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly manpower reports for submission to HR and management.
- Ensure all reports reflect accurate manpower utilization, overtime, and absenteeism trends.
- Support payroll processing by providing verified and approved attendance data within deadlines.
- Maintain proper filing (soft and hard copies) of attendance sheets, approvals, and site records.
4. Compliance & Control:
- Ensure compliance with ASAK’s timekeeping policies and site procedures.
- Identify irregularities in attendance such as absenteeism, false punching, or unauthorized overtime and report immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive site data.
5. Communication & Coordination:
- Liaise between HR, Site Management, and Accounts Department for manpower and payroll matters.
- Communicate instructions from management to site timekeepers and ensure consistent implementation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in timekeeping within the construction industry in the UAE.
- Experience handling multiple project sites simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of manpower control systems, time attendance devices, and Excel reporting.
- Familiarity with UAE labor law and standard site HR practices.
