Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to manage real estate transactions from opening through closing. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of escrow procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple files while meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open, process, and close escrow files for residential (and/or commercial) real estate transactions
  • Review contracts, title commitments, lender instructions, and closing documents
  • Prepare settlement statements (CD/CDS/ALTA) and ensure accuracy of all figures
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and underwriters
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and lender requirements
  • Order payoffs, tax certificates, HOA demands, and other required documentation
  • Conduct escrow closings and disburse funds in a timely and accurate manner
  • Resolve title, escrow, and closing issues as they arise

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Escrow Officer (title company experience required)
  • Strong understanding of escrow procedures and real estate transactions
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to escrow and title
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume desk and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with escrow software (e.g., ResWare, SoftPro, RamQuest, or similar)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
