Equity Land Title provides high-quality professional services to the real estate industry including title insurance, mortgage documentation, closing techniques, and additional services.

Equity Land Title (ELT) is an affiliate of the law firm of Greenspoon Marder. The Title Examiner position will work for ELT but will be based in Greenspoon Marder's Cypress Creek office. The focus of this position is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. This position is designed to develop a technical expert who is precise, patient, and diligent. Title Examiner is responsible for consistent and methodical title examinations in a high volume, fast paced office. Job knowledge and competency is built through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. Consistent, error free, quality work based on defined regulations and standards are key measures of job performance success. Candidates should have previous title examination experience and a title license is preferred.

Your Title Examiner Duties and Responsibilities:

• Title Search of Individual Timeshare Weeks
• Auditing Funding Packets
• Verification of legal documents
• Review of title records in multiple states
• Identifying and communicating defects in title
• Processing of documents to recover inventory
• Maintaining account status/history in data management system
• Communication with supervisor, managers and director
• Customer service calls with clients and various state agencies
• Cross-training among teams
