Toddler Music and Movement Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Toddler Music and Movement Teacher to inspire young children through engaging musical activities and movement exercises. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education, with expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children. As a Toddler Music and Movement Teacher, you will foster a joyful learning environment that promotes creativity, physical development, and emotional growth through music, dance, and movement-based lessons.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate music and movement curricula that stimulate toddlers’ developmental milestones.
• Lead interactive classes that incorporate singing, dancing, rhythm exercises, and theatrical elements to enhance motor skills and musical awareness.
• Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior among young learners.
• Develop creative lesson plans that integrate various artistic disciplines such as ballet, theater, and culinary activities to enrich the learning experience.
• Utilize photography and visual arts techniques to document children’s progress and classroom activities for parent communication and assessment purposes.
• Foster inclusive classroom settings that support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's individual growth in early childhood development.
• Maintain organized lesson plans aligned with educational standards while incorporating elements of choreography, sewing projects, or cooking activities when appropriate.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children in educational or childcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles combined with classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in curriculum development tailored for early learners focusing on music, dance, theater, and movement activities.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring young children with an emphasis on behavior management and emotional support.
• Familiarity with ballet, dancing techniques, theatrical arts, and culinary activities suitable for toddlers is highly desirable.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate arts-based learning such as sewing projects or photography documentation.
