Toddler Preschool Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically for toddlers, fostering their curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive social interactions among toddlers.
  • Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management techniques to promote cooperation and respect among children.
  • Conduct regular assessments of each child's developmental progress using standardized testing methods when appropriate, and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children's milestones, behavioral observations, and areas for growth through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Incorporate early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, attendance, and progress reports in compliance with childcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, especially with toddlers.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods tailored for toddlers.
  • Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Ability to manage a classroom environment confidently while fostering independence and social-emotional growth.
  • Certification in early childhood education or a related field is preferred; ongoing professional development in childcare or preschool teaching is encouraged. Job Type: Full-time
