Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and hygiene practices
• Monitor individual progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development and milestones
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and developmental observations
• Enforce health and safety policies to ensure a secure environment for all children
• Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Prior experience working with young children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom environments
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm for teaching toddlers
