Toddler Teacher

Creative Child Care's passion is working with young children and their families to ensure school readiness for all children in our care as they develop and learn in a safe and nurturing environment.

WE NEED TO HIRE ONE TODDLER TEACHER. Candidate must have an Infant/Toddler CDA or an AA or BS in Early Childhood Education (or a related field) PLUS a minimum of 3 years working with infants and toddlers in a licensed child care center.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO...

• work full-time (30-40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
• pass a background check
• communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• be open to new ideas and have a positive attitude
• respect administrators, coworkers, parents, and children
• possess a strong work ethic including the ability to arrive at work on time and remain active throughout the day
• maintain a warm, sympathetic, relaxed composure in which children may feel secure

TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to) …

• learning and complying with State Licensing and SUTQ rules and regulations
• learning and implementing Creative Curriculum, TSG, and our Parent Communication programs
• creating weekly lesson plans and preparing daily activities
• keeping developmental records to create individual goals for each child
• conducting parent teacher conferences
• maintaining the basic orderliness of individual rooms and care of equipment, including cleaning and sanitizing requirements
• working with children and parents of diverse backgrounds
• attending staff meetings and professional development trainings
