Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to guide our toddler program with creativity, patience, and expertise. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth while ensuring a safe and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that supports developmental milestones.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom that celebrates cultural diversity and accessibility.
• Build strong relationships with families through open communication and trust.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing standards and safety protocols.
• Mentor assistant teachers and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with at least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
• Knowledge of developmental milestones and best practices in toddler care.
• Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards Certificate (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a commitment to equity and inclusion.
