Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
As a Toddler Teacher, you will ignite young minds and nurture their development in an engaging classroom environment. Your role is pivotal in fostering a love for learning among toddlers, guiding them through essential early childhood education experiences. You will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere that encourages exploration and growth while implementing age-appropriate curricula that align with developmental milestones.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in young children.
• Foster a nurturing environment that supports the individual needs of each child, including those with special education requirements or disabilities.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Engage with parents and caregivers to provide updates on child progress and collaborate on developmental strategies.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's development in areas such as language, motor skills, and social interactions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children through adherence to first aid protocols and childcare regulations.
• Create an inclusive space that celebrates diversity and encourages children to express themselves freely.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and enhance the overall preschool experience.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or home setting is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support diverse learners effectively.
• Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Background in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred to ensure children's safety at all times.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for teaching and dedication to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
