Toddler Teacher

Job Description:

Established child care center is hiring a lead teachers for our classroom. The position will start immediately.

• $300 Hiring bonus payable after 120 days of full-time employment plus employee must be in good standing to receive payout.

To oversee the day to day care and education for children while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety and welfare of the children and staff.

We are looking for someone that's caring, hands on and with motivation to learn.

Candidates with similar experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

The goal of teachers is to provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence encouraged, and individuality respected.

To this end the specific responsibilities included, but are not limited to the following:

1) Protects the safety of all children in the center.

2) Directly supervises children at all times.

3) Uses positive phrasing with children.

4) Communicates frequently with children throughout the day, naming objects, actions, using who, what, when, where. and why, and open ended questions.

5) Co-plays/interacts with children during play activities

6) Treats each child with dignity and respect

7) Can drive the school bus, and is willing to substitute in classrooms as needed
