Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with Kiddie Academy curriculum standards.
• Foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through hands-on learning experiences.
• Supervise and engage with toddlers throughout daily routines, including meals, playground time, and transitions.
• Maintain accurate records and classroom documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with all Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) licensing requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with leadership and fellow educators to support a positive school culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Florida DCF 45-Hour Introductory Child Care Training preferred or willingness to complete within required timelines.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early learning setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities.
• Must successfully pass all required background screening requirements.
