We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth tailored specifically for toddlers.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and encouraging cooperative play and communication among children.
- Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring safety at all times in compliance with health standards.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships.
- Maintain detailed records of child development progress, attendance, and classroom activities while adhering to mandated reporting laws.
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Conduct classroom management duties such as organizing activities, supervising playtime, and ensuring a clean and stimulating environment.
- Engage in ongoing lesson planning that includes assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable, to monitor developmental milestones.
- Stay current on best practices in childhood development, childcare regulations, first aid and CPR certification requirements, and early childhood education trends.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential; familiarity with toddler care is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within early childhood education environments.
- Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement-based activities into daily routines is advantageous.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and child welfare standards is required.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children as well as parents or guardians to support their child's growth and learning journey.
- Background in special education or early intervention programs is a plus for supporting diverse learners.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials related to preschool teaching or daycare experience are beneficial.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
