Toddler Teacher - Evans Location

Duties:

• Creates and implements developmentally appropriate, weekly lesson plans for toddlers.
• Assists children in all areas of their daily schedule (gross/fine motor, nutrition, art, literature, etc.) while protecting them from physical and/or emotional harm.
• Maintains a clean and safe classroom and playground environment.
• Assists with the personal care and hygiene of all children to include following state guidelines for appropriate diaper changing and potty training of children.
• Maintains open and positive communication with children’s parents/guardians.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• A minimum of 6 months experience working in a licensed childcare facility is preferred.
• Must have a minimum of a CDA, TCC, or Associate Degree or be in the process of obtaining this credential.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to see, hear, and communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, etc. for several hours per shift
• Must be able to work Monday – Friday, between 8:30am - 5:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
