Toddler Teacher - Grovetown location

Experienced toddler teacher needed.

• A minimum of 6 months experience working in a Georgia licensed childcare facility.

Duties:

• Creates and implements developmentally appropriate, weekly lesson plans and submits them to management for review.
• Assists children in all areas of their daily schedule (art, literature, music, physical activity, etc.) while protecting them from physical and/or emotional harm.
• Maintains a clean and safe classroom environment as well as a safe playground.
• Assists with the personal care and hygiene of all children, and if applicable, follows state guidelines for appropriate diaper changing of children.
• Maintains open and positive communication with children’s parents/guardians.

Additional Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Certified in Child/Infant CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety preferred
• Successfully passing State and Federal criminal background check (fingerprints required)
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to see, hear, and communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, etc. for several hours per shift
• Must be able to work any shift Monday – Friday, between 9:00a-6:00p.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
