Toddler Teachers for Performing Arts Preschool

Stages Academy, a performing arts preschool and afterschool program, is looking for full-time, lead Toddler teachers for our quickly expanding program in both our Buckingham and Levittown locations!

We are a school based on the Reggio Emilia approach to education and provide a program that challenges a child's whole brain by putting academics and the arts on an even playing field. Our unique program allows students to attend classes on a rotational basis in 35 minute intervals throughout the day, providing them with the opportunity to learn from a wide variety of teachers and staff. While our Infants follow a more traditional approach, our Toddlers receive Library, Music, and Art in their classroom to prepare them to join our Preschool program at age 2.

Candidates should:

• have a high school diploma or higher.
• have experience babysitting, working in a child care facility, and/or supervising very young children,
• be warm, caring, and patient,
• be friendly, detail-oriented, creative, and team players.

We pay a minimum of $16/hour (with base increases depending on your level of education) as early as your first day upon completion of job entry requirements. There are 2 additional opportunities throughout the first year to earn up to a total of an additional $1.50 per hour in bonuses!

Staff also receive 7 paid holidays and have the opportunity for monthly financial bonuses for exceptional workplace performance. Benefits package available to full-time employees. Pay commensurate with level of education.
