We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Tool and Die Design Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing precision tooling and fixtures. You will play a critical role in our product development lifecycle, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the highest standard of quality.

Hours include Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm with overtime to be worked as needed to satisfy expanding operating requirements and other needs. Compensation is commensurate with experience and may be adjusted based on skills and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop 2D and 3D models of progressive dies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet all specifications.
  • Provide technical support during the fabrication, assembly, and testing of new and modified tooling.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
  • Assist in the selection of materials and manufacturing processes to optimize tool and performance and longevity.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years+ of progressive die design experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with 5-axis CNC machining is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
