Summary

The Total Rewards Coordinator provides support to the Benefits and Compensation functions. This position will administer the company’s qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. The Total Rewards Coordinator will provide assistance for the benefits open enrollment and leave of absences. This position will support the Compensation function with job offers and evaluations, annual discretionary bonuses and merit process.


Specific Job Functions

  • Responsible for all aspects of the company’s qualified and non-qualified plans to include payroll registers, compliance, reporting, filing of plan documents, audits, form 5500 in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Serve as the primary contact for retirement-related inquiries.
  • Educate employees on plan features, investment options, and retirement readiness.
  • Assist with retirement planning sessions and pre-retirement workshops.
  • Liaise with third-party administrators regarding the qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.
  • Review and evaluate vendor performance and service offerings.
  • Support HR leadership in developing retirement strategies aligned with workforce needs.
  • Participate in benefits committee meetings and contribute to policy development.
  • Oversees and administers the company-wide Wellness program.
  • Provides support on leave requests and accommodations that are under Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws.
  • Preserves confidentiality of employee medical documentation and files.
  • Provides support during Open Enrollment for all benefits.
  • Provides assistance during company-wide merit and discretionary bonus processes.
  • Provides assistance with job offers and evaluations.
  • Works with equity platform vendor to process terminations.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is required.
  • 4 years of experience can be used in lieu of degree.
  • 0 – 2 years of human resources experience is required.
  • Leave of absence or retirement plan experience is preferred.
  • Must be an effective team player; understands hands-on approach to providing HR support.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively using written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite.
