Location(s): Irvine / Tustin, CA – Onsite
Compensation: $75,000 - $83,000
About this position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Total Rewards & HRIS Specialist to support the execution and administration of our compensation, benefits, and HR systems. This role will partner closely with the Manager, Total Rewards & HRIS and Sr. Benefits Analyst to ensure efficient operations, data integrity, and a positive employee experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep total rewards programs running smoothly while leveraging data and systems to drive accuracy and insights.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the administration and execution of total rewards programs, including compensation and benefits initiatives
  • Assist with compensation processes, including salary data maintenance, market benchmarking support, and annual cycle preparation
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee inquiries with a strong customer-service focus
  • Perform benefits invoice reconciliation, auditing vendor invoices, identifying discrepancies, and partnering with vendors, employees, and Finance to ensure accuracy and resolution
  • Support leave of absence (LOA) administration, including tracking, documentation, and coordination with employees, managers, and third-party administrators
  • Maintain and update HRIS data integrity, ensuring accurate employee records and timely processing of changes
  • Generate and analyze recurring and ad hoc reports related to compensation, benefits, and workforce data
  • Partner on open enrollment planning and execution, including system setup, employee communications, and post-enrollment audits
  • Support employee education and wellness, engagement initiatives related to total rewards programs (e.g., benefits awareness, resources, and communications)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, supporting audits and reporting (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA)
  • Assist with vendor management, including invoice tracking, issue resolution, and maintaining documentation
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation across total rewards and HRIS workflows
  • Support HRIS enhancements, integrations, and testing, ensuring system functionality and efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, and Finance to ensure alignment, accuracy, and a seamless employee experience
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in HR, total rewards, HRIS, or benefits administration
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (Paycor or similar)
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration and/or compensation processes
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting both compensation and benefits functions
  • Exposure to HRIS implementations, integrations, or system upgrades
  • Familiarity with benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA)
  • Experience supporting LOA processes and vendor coordination
  • Progress toward or interest in certifications such as CCP or CEBS
  • Process improvement mindset with ability to identify efficiencies
