Key Responsibilities:

Welcome tour groups at the designated starting point, ensuring all participants are accounted for.

Guide tour groups, highlighting and explaining points of interest throughout the journey.

Address questions from participants and provide advice on local customs, languages, and currency exchange.

Ensure smooth travel arrangements, including managing stopovers and making necessary adjustments to routes or plans.

Handle passport/visa issues, emergencies, illnesses, accidents, lost luggage, and participant complaints with professionalism and efficiency.

Collaborate with the Operations Department to implement safety protocols, disaster recovery, and evacuation procedures.

Coordinate with relevant parties, including bus captains, to ensure the smooth operation of tours.

Monitor the safety and security of tour group members during all phases of the trip.

Provide feedback to the Operations Department regarding vendor performance, itinerary management, and overall tour logistics.

Deliver clear and concise briefings to tour groups on destination information, logistical arrangements, and expectations.

Respond to emergencies and unforeseen situations during tours, ensuring minimal disruption to the travel experience.

Manage and resolve complaints from tour group members professionally and proactively.

Review agreements between tour agencies and groups, guiding response actions during tours.

Continuously review feedback from participants to improve the quality of services offered.

Act as the cornerstone in establishing the Traffic Department, responsible for overseeing all ground services in Hurghada, with the potential for expansion to additional key destinations in Egypt such as Cairo, Luxor, and Sharm El-Sheikh.

Perform any additional tasks as assigned, in alignment with the job requirements and organizational needs.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages such as German or French is considered an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Egyptian history, culture, and major tourist attractions.
Ability to effectively present and explain historical landmarks, cultural sites, and local traditions to visitors.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Tour Leader in Hurghada.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to follow and manage travel itineraries efficiently.
Capable of handling unexpected situations such as flight delays, weather changes, and guest complaints in a professional manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
