Tower Cranes Manager - Maintenance

Monitor the operation and maintenance procedures for all types of tower cranes in mega projects

or area projects.

Manage all the tower cranes' staff, operation, and maintenance process in mega project or area

projects (two or more tower cranes located within the same geographical area)

• Monitor operation, and maintenance process of tower cranes and determine when and what kind

of maintenance is needed.

• Confer with tower cranes' team to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions,

and provide technical information.

• Follow-up tower cranes failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make

recommendations to tower cranes workers.

• Coordinate with area projects managers / mega project manager to fulfill their tower cranes needs

and operation orders.

• Negotiate with outside suppliers & agencies in all mechanical maintenance related issues.

• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that tower cranes are installed

and functioning according to specifications.

• Monitor technical performance of all tower cranes in area projects / mega project.

• Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

• Coordinate with the technical office unit for the tower cranes reallocation, working hours, and

maintenance cost.

• Ensure productivity and quality of work in the area.

• Provide technical support when needed.

• Ensure the effectiveness of technical and on job training to enhance employees’ performance.

• Ensure best allocations of tower cranes' staff based on the technicality and project needs.

• Conduct periodic evaluation of employees work performance and tower cranes that have been

repaired and the constraints.

• Perform other assignments as necessary to support the function/department

• Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment and

environmental aspects.

Bachelor of Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering

Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a related position
