Towing Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of freight, and effectively managing communication between drivers and clients. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize various transportation management systems to optimize operations.

Duties

• Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for towing.
• Utilize GIS and GPS technologies to track trucks and provide real-time updates to clients and drivers.
• Manage data entry tasks related to dispatching, including maintaining accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and fleet management.
• Communicate effectively with drivers using multi-line phone systems, providing clear instructions and support as needed.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance service delivery..
• Utilize Towbooks for effective dispatching and transportation planning.
• Maintain a high level of phone etiquette while interacting with clients, drivers, and other stakeholders.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analysis skills to assess data trends and make informed decisions.
• Experience with GIS, GPS technologies, and fleet management practices.
• Ability to perform typing tasks accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
