Job Summary:
The Vehicle Tracking Company Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the vehicle tracking department. This critical role ensures the continuous, accurate monitoring of all client vehicles, manages a team of dispatchers and tracking specialists, optimizes fleet efficiency, and responds immediately to incidents, alarms, and client service requests. The supervisor maintains operational integrity of tracking systems and ensures meticulous data reporting.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
· Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, train, and manage a team of vehicle tracking operators and dispatch personnel; manage shift schedules, delegate tasks, and conduct performance reviews.
· Real-Time Fleet Monitoring: Oversee the 24/7 monitoring center operations, ensuring all vehicles are tracked accurately using GPS and telemetry systems, and that all data feeds are live and operational.
· Incident & Emergency Response: Act as the primary escalation point for all vehicle-related incidents, including security alerts, route deviations, accidents, breakdowns, or potential vehicle theft; coordinate rapid response protocols with relevant authorities or field teams.
· Client Service & Communication: Maintain high standards of client communication regarding vehicle status, provide accurate tracking information upon request, and handle complex client inquiries or service issues related to tracking data.
· System Management & Maintenance: Ensure the functionality and troubleshooting of all tracking software platforms (e.g., GPS tracking portals, telematics systems); liaise with technical support teams for system outages or upgrades.
· Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze tracking data to identify trends in fleet utilization, driver behavior (e.g., speeding, harsh braking), route efficiency, and fuel consumption. Generate detailed reports for management and clients.
· SOP & Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tracking operations, ensuring compliance with all transportation, data privacy, and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven supervisory or leadership experience within a fleet management, logistics, security monitoring, or telematics environment.
· Technical Skills: High proficiency with vehicle telematics hardware/software, GPS tracking platforms, routing optimization tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills for reporting are essential).
· Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure or emergency situations.
· Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex tracking data and solve operational issues quickly and effectively.
· Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; essential for clear communication during emergencies and detailed report writing.
· Availability: Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operational environment, which may include night shifts, weekends, and holidays, or an on-call rotation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
