Tractor Trailer Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, and possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting freight to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Duties

• Operate tractor-trailer units for the safe transportation of goods.
• Manual transmission experience is a plus, but automatic-only drivers are welcome.
• Ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailer operation.
• Perferred 3 year experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers.
• Ability to handle various types of freight safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and cargo handling.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
