Trade Marketing Manager – FMCG | Oman (6-Month Project Contract – Maternity Cover)


What This Role Is About

As the Trade Marketing Manager at a leading FMCG company based in Oman, you will play a key role in shaping category performance, driving strategic growth, and optimizing profitability across multiple retail and wholesale channels.


This is a 6-month project role covering maternity leave, ideal for a driven and hands-on professional who can immediately join and contribute to the company’s continued success.


You will lead trade marketing initiatives, promotional planning, and channel strategies that align with the company’s commercial objectives. Working closely with sales, category management, and supply chain teams, you will ensure seamless execution of trade campaigns, optimize trade investments, and strengthen the company’s market position across Oman and the wider GCC region.


Your marketing insight, commercial acumen, and results-oriented mindset will be essential in driving impactful campaigns and ensuring business continuity during this key period.


The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit

  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing or category management within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful trade campaigns and channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the Oman or GCC retail landscape, with experience in multi-channel environments.
  • Skilled in promotional planning, trade activations, and ROI optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; additional certifications are a plus.
  • Can immediately join and quickly adapt to ongoing projects and priorities.
