About the Role
We are seeking a creative and motivated Trade Show Booth Design Intern to join our team and help develop engaging exhibit environments for trade shows, conferences, and corporate events. This internship offers hands-on experience in experiential design, branding, spatial planning, and event marketing while working alongside experienced designers and project managers.
The ideal candidate is passionate about design, enjoys solving creative challenges, and is interested in learning how brands come to life in physical spaces.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of trade show booths, exhibits, and event environments.
- Create 2D and 3D renderings, floor plans, and presentation materials.
- Support concept development based on client branding, marketing objectives, and event requirements.
- Research industry trends, materials, display technologies, and competitor exhibits.
- Help prepare design proposals, mood boards, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and marketing teams throughout the design process.
- Assist with graphic layout, signage placement, and experiential branding elements.
- Review design files for accuracy and production readiness.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative reviews.
Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Experiential Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong visual communication and creative problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Basic knowledge of 3D design software such as SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, Vectorworks, or similar.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience creating 3D renderings or architectural visualizations.
- Knowledge of trade shows, events, retail environments, or experiential marketing.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
- Portfolio showcasing design projects, renderings, or creative work.
