Trading & Distribution Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of trading activities and product distribution within the market. This role ensures smooth coordination between suppliers, warehouses, logistics partners, and customers, while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The supervisor will play a key role in optimizing trading processes, managing distribution efficiency, and supporting business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • To supervise and monitor trading transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and clients to manage purchase and sales orders.
  • Track market trends and provide input to management for trading strategies.
  • Distribution Management, to oversee inventory levels, warehouse operations, and distribution schedules.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while minimizing costs.
  • Liaise with logistics providers to optimize transportation and distribution routes.
  • Team Leadership, Lead and mentor distribution staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training where necessary.
  • Foster collaboration between trading and distribution teams.
  • Reporting & Compliance, prepare regular reports on trading activities, stock levels, and distribution performance.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
  • Identify risks in trading and distribution processes and propose mitigation strategies.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in trading, distribution, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of trading operations, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
