Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of gold price movements and market trends.
- Monitor global economic data, inflation rates, currency fluctuations, and geopolitical events impacting gold prices.
- Trading Support:
- Provide insights and recommendations to traders on optimal buy/sell positions.
- Develop and refine trading models using technical and fundamental analysis.
- Track spot and futures market performance.
- Research & Reporting:
- Prepare market outlook reports, price forecasts, and investment strategy notes.
- Present findings to senior management or clients.
- Risk Management:
- Assess market volatility and trading risks.
- Suggest hedging strategies to mitigate price fluctuations.
- Data Management:
- Collect and maintain market data from multiple sources (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.).
- Use analytical tools to visualize trends and test hypotheses.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Statistics.
- Strong understanding of commodities and financial markets, especially precious metals.
- Proficiency in technical analysis tools (e.g., MetaTrader, TradingView) and data analytics software (e.g., Excel, Python, R).
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret macroeconomic indicators and central bank policies.
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- 2–5 years in commodities trading, financial analysis, or investment research.
- Experience with gold futures, ETFs, and forex markets.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters Eikon, or other trading platforms.
