Core Responsibilities Bookkeeping and Record Keeping: Perform daily data entry to maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets. Reconciliation: Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies found between bank statements and internal records. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and handle accounts payable and receivable functions. Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards. Auditing Support: Assist senior accountants and auditors with internal and external audit procedures. Tax Support: Help with tax filings, understanding tax regulations, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws. Budget Support: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial planning activities. System Maintenance: Help maintain and update accounting systems and databases.
