Trainee Civil Engineer

The Job/ Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Junior Civil Engineer (trainee) to join our construction team as a Site Engineer. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with minimal experience who are eager to kickstart their career in civil engineering. The Junior Civil Engineer will work under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience in construction site management, project coordination, and technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Site Management:

• Assist in the management of construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor daily construction activities, report progress, and address any issues that may arise on-site.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and subcontractors to ensure efficient and timely project execution.

Technical Support:

• Assist in the preparation and review of project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist site engineer in on-site inspections to verify the quality and adherence to engineering standards.
• Provide technical support to resolve construction-related issues and challenges.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
• Assist in the preparation of project reports for management and clients.

Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, site engineer, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless coordination of project activities.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong academic background .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulations will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 per month
