Trainee Supervisor

The Trainee Supervisor will be trained to oversee daily store operations, supervise floor staff, and ensure smooth customer service and sales processes. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn store management skills and grow into a supervisory position within the retail grocery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations

• Assist in managing daily store activities, including sales, customer service, and stock handling.
• Ensure cleanliness, display, and organization of store shelves.
• Support in maintaining stock levels and reporting shortages to management.

Staff Supervision

• Learn to supervise cashiers, sales staff, and helpers during shifts.
• Monitor employee attendance, grooming, and behavior.
• Help in assigning daily tasks and ensuring staff productivity.

Customer Service

• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Support in resolving billing or service issues.

Sales & Performance

• Assist in monitoring daily sales and meeting store targets.
• Motivate staff to achieve sales and service goals.
• Learn to analyze sales performance and suggest improvements.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure store staff follows company policies and SOPs.
• Prepare basic daily reports on staff, sales, and operations.
• Escalate issues to the Supervisor/Manager when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Intermediate (preferred in Business or relevant field).
• Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of retail experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (weekends, evenings, holidays).
• Eagerness to learn and grow in retail management.

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
