Summary:
Do you love empowering others through Training and Development?
Peerstar is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to support employee learning and development initiatives aligned with organizational goals. In this role, you will design and deliver learning programs that build employee capability and improve performance. In addition, you will partner with stakeholders to identify training needs, facilitate instructor-led and virtual sessions, and apply adult learning principles to create engaging, effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate training needs assessments and support development of training programs and materials.
Facilitate training sessions for new and existing employees.
Coordinate training schedules and maintain training records.
Track and document training compliance and employee completion.
Audit training and employee records to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
Partner with leadership to support workforce training and performance improvement initiatives.
Track training metrics and provide recommendations for program improvements.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Peerstar’s mission.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
At least one (1) year of experience in training, learning & development, or organizational development, preferably in mental health.
Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, email, timekeeping systems, HR database, internet research, and the ability to learn job-specific software.
Strong oral and written communication skills, cultural competence, interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork, organization, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to travel within PA service area.
Ability to work flexible schedule as needed.
