Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Training & Certification Manager to lead workforce development, vocational training, and technical certification programs within the renewable energy and skills development ecosystem. This role will be responsible for designing industry-aligned training frameworks, coordinating with regulatory and training bodies such as TEVTA, PVTI, and other technical institutes, and ensuring high-quality certification outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vocational education, curriculum development, technical training, and certification management, preferably within the solar or energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee workforce development and vocational training programs
• Develop and update training curricula aligned with industry standards and certification requirements
• Coordinate and liaise with TEVTA, PVTI, NAVTTC, and other public/private training institutes
• Manage technical certification programs and ensure compliance with national and international standards
• Plan and execute training schedules, assessments, and evaluations
• Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs, assessments, and post-training evaluations
• Lead trainers, instructors, and external training partners
• Manage training projects, budgets, timelines, and reporting
• Ensure continuous improvement in training quality and certification outcomes
• Support skills development initiatives for the solar, renewable energy, and technical workforce

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Renewable Energy, Technical Sciences, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in vocational training, technical education, workforce development, or solar engineering
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and certification frameworks
• Hands-on experience with training program design, implementation, and evaluation
• Familiarity with TEVTA, PVTI, NAVTTC, or similar institutions
• Proven project management and stakeholder coordination skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in solar energy training or renewable energy certification
• Understanding of skills development policies and technical accreditation
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to work with government bodies, institutes, and private stakeholders
