Translator – English to Arabic

Job Summary:

The Translator (English to Arabic) is responsible for accurately translating written and spoken materials from English to Arabic and vice versa, ensuring that the translated content maintains its original meaning, context, and tone. The role requires strong linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and attention to detail to support internal and external communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Translate documents, reports, letters, contracts, marketing materials, and other written content from English to Arabic and Arabic to English as required.

· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance in all translations.

· Proofread and edit translated texts to maintain quality and clarity.

· Work closely with various departments (HR, Legal, Marketing, Operations, etc.) to meet translation needs on time.

· Maintain confidentiality of all translated materials and sensitive company information.

· Support in interpreting during meetings, interviews, or events when required.

· Develop and maintain a glossary of commonly used terms and company-specific vocabulary.

· Review and update existing translated materials to ensure correctness and consistency with updated policies or terminology.

· Perform quality assurance checks to ensure translation accuracy and alignment with the original text.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, English, Arabic, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a professional translator (English ↔ Arabic).

· Excellent command of both English and Arabic (written and spoken).

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Familiarity with translation software and tools is an advantage.

· Ability to handle multiple translation tasks and meet deadlines.

· Knowledge of technical, legal, or business terminology is a plus.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
