Transmission and Distribution Protection Engineer

We are seeking a KM-approved Transmission and Distribution Protection Engineer for support activities at substations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support BCU OEM engineers in updating the firmware of BCUs.
• Perform typical bay testing, including:
• Testing of BCU signals (hardware I/Os, CTVT measurements, synchro checks).
• Testing of signals from protection relays to SCS.
• Support SCS engineers in clearing punch points related to BCU/protection signals.

Requirements

• Approved by KM for Transmission & Distribution protection works.
• Strong technical knowledge of BCU systems, protection relays, and bay-level testing
• Prior experience in substation testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work closely with OEM and SCS teams.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
