Job title: Transport Manager

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee the transportation logistics, and the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our school's facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation logistics to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Management:

• Managing the school's transport vendor to ensure top notch service is provided.
• Oversee the planning and operation of the school’s transportation services.
• Ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of school buses and other vehicles.
• Develop transportation schedules and routes.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and compliance with safety standards.
• Manage relationships with transport service providers and vendors.
• Provide training and guidance to the transport personnel

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: A bachelor's degree

Experience: Min 2 years’ experience in transport management in schools/colleges.

Skills:

• Strong IT skills including the use of spreadsheets (Excel, Google sheets), GPS systems, Whatsapp, school ERP software etc.
• Generate and analyse reports in Excel/Google sheets to improve efficiency.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to interact with ground level staff, as well as with senior management.
• A "hands-on" attitude towards work, should be responsive and willing to longer hours.
• Excellent communication skills and should be able to speak Kannada.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
