The Transport Planning Manager will play a key role in overseeing ridership analysis, transport demand forecasting, and timetable optimization across the metro network during its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase. This role requires deep technical expertise in travel forecasting models and strategic planning to ensure efficient and responsive metro operations aligned with passenger needs and system capacity.
Key Responsibilities

Possess a minimum of 10 years’ senior technical experience with extensive knowledge in developing and deploying travel forecast models on a macro scale.

Assist the Employer in conducting, specifying, and monitoring ridership across the KAPT (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Public Transport).

Assess transport demand, plan actions to adjust and predict transport capacity needs, and review the development of timetables to ensure optimal service delivery.

Supervise the activities of each O&M Contractor in relation to ridership measurement and timetable optimization, ensuring alignment with operational goals and passenger expectations.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven expertise in transport modeling, demand forecasting, and metro service planning.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable operational plans.

Experience in public transport systems, preferably metro or urban rail networks.

Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical teams, contractors, and government stakeholders.
