Transportation Coordinator

A Transportation Coordinator manages the logistics of moving goods or people, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective transportation. Key duties include scheduling, routing, driver coordination, compliance with regulations, and inventory tracking. Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Scheduling: Develop, review, and revise transportation schedules to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Operational Oversight: Coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and manage the movement of goods or personnel.
  • Driver & Vendor Management: Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and suppliers, ensuring accountability.
  • Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with safety regulations,, legal requirements, and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of shipments, routes, and, if applicable, vehicle maintenance.
  • Problem Solving: Address delays, route changes, or safety issues in real-time.

Required Skills and Qualifications
