Compensation:

• Salary: $13.50-$15.50/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide transportation for residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other approved destinations
• This position will be a transportation aide transporting new admissions from mostly the Lexington, KY area to our 3 buildings in Somerset, Pineville, and Cumberland Kentucky
• Ensure trips are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of residents
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Report any maintenance issues or incidents to the supervisor
• Assist residents with boarding and alighting, ensuring safety and comfort
• Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids
• Maintain accurate records of trips, including times, destinations, and any incidents
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff
• Provide friendly and courteous service
• Address concerns from residents or their families professionally

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license in State of Kentucky with a clean driving record
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Kentucky
• Previous driving experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and able to work well under pressure
